Meet Kurt Maxxon

Kurt Maxxon is a fifty-something stock car race driver, and a retired Lt. Colonel from the U.S. Marine Corps after twenty-six years as a fighter pilot. He moved back to his hometown, bought an auto parts store, and pursued a pastime of racing stock cars. Kurt has an enviable record and is highly respected within the racing association by officials, track owners, operators and other drivers.

Kurt occasionally stumbles on dead bodies at the race tracks where he competes. This bothers him enough to feel a vested interest in seeing the murder solved correctly.

Kurt brings a unique form of logic and a calculating rationale in his approach to solving the crimes he discovers.
